They may look like simple bags of rice and soy, but Rise Against Hunger meals represent the hopes and dreams of people worldwide. Our volunteers are the heart of our mission to end hunger by 2030 and we could not send millions of meals around the globe each year without them.
Since 2005, our volunteer groups have packaged over 500 million meals, and each year we engage hundreds of thousands of volunteers globally. We rely on groups of any size in locations across the world to package our meals — this is where you come into play.
Our Rise Against Hunger Experience events provide a fun, educational way for groups to literally lend a hand to people in critical aid need across the globe. We combine an assembly line process with an educational experience to not only make a huge impact worldwide, but to touch the lives of those in your group.
Step 1: Complete our interest form. You can expect to hear from a Rise Against Hunger team member within one business day.
Step 2: Think about the impact you want to make for people in need around the globe! Our events are perfect for volunteers ages 4 to 94, and one person can package about 250 meals in two hours. We’ll work with you to design the perfect event for your group.
Step 3: Fundraise to reach your goal using our helpful tips.
Step 4: Let us come to you! Our events can be facilitated in most regions of the globe and we send a hunger educator to your location to take care of the event logistics and educate your group about world hunger.
Step 5: Get excited and package meals! We bring music, stylish hairnets and stories of true impact to you for hours of fun and team building.
Are you interested in volunteering locally outside of our meal packaging events? We are always looking for behind the scenes assistance! Fill out our interest form to get started.
