Hear from Our Partners

Faith Community

At Rise Against Hunger, we’re excited to partner with your faith community in growing the movement to end hunger. When you host a meal packaging event,  your church members and local community work together to package nutritious meals distributed to people facing hunger worldwide. Hear from a few of our faith community partners below to see the impact you can make possible!

“I am blessed to lead a church that seeks to reduce food insecurity in our community and across the globe. Rise Against Hunger offers the best way, I know, to bring a community together to bless others with a hands-on project for all ages and stages. Each year, we [host] at least two meal packaging events attended by countless people from across our community and our members. We believe in serving big by serving in big and small ways. Rise Against Hunger is a key event in our church year that brings together over 1,000 people to serve!”

Senior Pastor Dunwoody United Methodist Church

“Thanks to our partnership with Rise Against Hunger over the past three years, we’ve packed close to 2 million meals, empowering communities to take action and make a difference in the global fight against hunger. Through our collaboration, we have mobilized thousands of volunteers to help end hunger and raise awareness of food insecurity around the world. Together, we are working tirelessly to ensure that no one goes hungry.”

“Rise Against Hunger has been an incredible partnership since 2011 helping us join the fight to end hunger around the world. Their teams are passionate about their work, professional, and care about every detail from beginning to end. We have been able to empower our volunteers to serve packing over 1.5 million meals. Together, we are able to make an impact across the globe. We are so thankful for Rise Against Hunger and the difference they are making.”

“We can all do our part. We can all come together…for a good cause; we can agree upon that right now, even though things are a little divisive. What I saw [at the event] was a lot of people coming together for one good purpose, which was to [package] these meals so that people will not go hungry.”
