Rise Against Hunger has been active in the San Diego area since 2013. We have worked closely with multiple Rotary Clubs and corporate groups in the area since 2013. Some of our largest supporters have been the San Diego Rotary Club, which is the fourth largest Rotary Club in the world, as well as Thermo Fisher Scientific. We are excited to have a location in the heart of San Diego and have a full-time Community Engagement Manager to help develop community-based volunteer projects. There are many ways to help support our efforts to end hunger by 2030. In 2019 alone, more than 4,100 volunteers in the region came together to package more than 654,000 meals for distribution to four countries!
Volunteers are one of the essential resources Rise Against Hunger needs to help realize the vision of a world without hunger. Each year, thousands of volunteers join Rise Against Hunger not only to package meals, but to support local operations and assist with administrative duties. Ready to get started? Please complete our volunteer interest form and we’ll be in touch soon!
