Rise Against Hunger Philadelphia was founded in 2010 and serves the lower Pennsylvania, Delaware, eastern Maryland and south New Jersey regions. In 2017, more than 23,300 local volunteers and partnering organizations, including The Hershey Corporation and First Presbyterian Church of West Chester, have helped build the local movement to end global hunger. In this region alone, through 2017, more than 26.2 million meals have been packaged to benefit 22 countries.

Partner Spotlight

Hershey Company worldwide brand started with doing 10,000 meal packaging event in 2013. Since then, they have been rising against hunger and reached over 1 million meals in 2017. J.P. Bilbrey, Chairman, President and CEO said, “Since our founding we’ve had a commitment to more than just making great products, we helped children in need.” Hershey has not only been a hunger fighter, but also one of the sweetest partnerships we have had.
