Rise Against Hunger Philadelphia was founded in 2010 and serves the lower Pennsylvania, Delaware, eastern Maryland and south New Jersey regions. In 2018, more than 23,300 local volunteers and partnering organizations, including The Hershey Corporation and First Presbyterian Church of West Chester, have helped build the local movement to end global hunger. In this region alone throughout 2018, more than 30 million meals were packaged to benefit 23 countries.

Partner Spotlight

Trinity United Methodist Church, in New Kingstown, Pennsylvania, has packaged 103,032 meals since 2013. The congregation of Trinity UMC is warm and friendly, comprised of people from all walks of life, dedicated to serving people throughout Cumberland County and beyond. We are truly thankful for the hunger fighters at Trinity UMC and their partnership in working toward our vision of a world without hunger.
