Looking for volunteer opportunities!? Rise Against Hunger has plenty of them! We can’t end world hunger without people like you! We are always looking for volunteers to help out in our warehouse! Warehouse volunteers help support meal packaging operations by staging for events, restocking supplies, stacking pallets for shipment, sanitizing and organizing equipment, and so much more. In 2020, we are starting monthly volunteer days. We would love to have you, your family and friends, your team at work, or your church group join us! Please visit our SignUpGenius page or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about volunteering in the warehouse.
In January 2020, the Philadelphia team had the honor of packaging meals with First Presbyterian Church in Germantown, Philadelphia! In their fourth Rise Against Hunger Experience, they hosted an event that resulted in 25,000 meals being packaged and engaged over 150 volunteers! With superb fundraising and volunteer efforts, they reached their goal and packaged all of their meals in just under two hours. In their time of partnering with us they have packaged over 90,000 meals! We are so excited to see how this community continues to deepen their impact. Thank you so much First Presbyterian Church Germantown for continuing in Growing the Movement to end hunger in our lifetime!
