Rise Against Hunger Orlando was founded in 2011 and serves the state of Florida. In 2017, more than 14,400 local volunteers and partnering organizations, including ADP, B’Nai Torah Congregation and the University of Florida, have helped build the local movement to end global hunger. In this region alone, through 2017, more than 12.4 million meals have been packaged to benefit 14 countries.
We welcome people of all ages and skills sets to volunteer in our warehouse during the week. We have regular volunteer shifts for individuals and groups who want to give back to a global cause. For more information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
B’Nai Torah Congregation of Boca Raton, Florida, has packaged over 100,000 meals with Rise Against Hunger since 2014. Not only do they package often as a congregation, but they have shared their passion for feeding the hungry with the Boca Raton Interfaith Association who has packaged over 65,000 meals so far in 2017.
