Rise Against Hunger Orlando was founded in 2011 and serves the state of Florida. In 2018, more than 14,300 local volunteers and partnering organizations, including Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Georgianna UMC and University Carillon UMC, have helped build the local movement to end global hunger. In this region alone, through 2018, more than 14.4 million meals have been packaged to benefit 14 countries.

Volunteer Opportunities

We welcome people of all ages and skills sets to volunteer in our warehouse during the week. We have regular volunteer shifts for individuals and groups who want to give back to a global cause. For more information, please email

Partner Spotlight

Three Presbyterian churches in the Leesburg area join forces every year to package meals with Rise Against Hunger. In 2019, they will surpass 500,000+ meals packaged together since 2011. We appreciate everyone who contributes their time and resources including members of GraceWay Presbyterian Church, North Lake Presbyterian Church and First Presbyterian Church of Mount Dora.
