Rise Against Hunger New York was founded in 2016 and serves the New York City, North and Central New Jersey, Long Island, Upstate New York and southern and western Connecticut regions.

In 2018, more than 24,300 local volunteers and partnering organizations, including PepsiCo, Novartis and WiACT, helped build the local movement to end global hunger.

In this region alone, through 2018, more than 12.5 million meals have been packaged to benefit 10 countries.

Partner Spotlight

In 2018, the PepsiCo Foundation anticipates packing 1 million meals amongst their Westchester and New York City locations, with over 3,000 employees engaged in the fight against hunger. We also continue to celebrate active involvement from our corporate partners such as Novartis, Pfizer, AIG and American Express. Faith-based communities and school groups continue to support our work, contributing hundreds of thousands of meals and helping us grow the movement in the area.
