Rise Against Hunger Indianapolis was founded in 2014 and serves the Greater MidWest area: Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin. Rise Against Hunger Indianapolis also supports events in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Iowa and Missouri. In 2019, more than 6,200 local volunteers and partnering organizations, including Several Ivy Tech Community College Campuses, NextGear Capital and Allison Transmission, have helped build the local movement to end global hunger. In this region alone, through 2019, about 8.8 million meals have been packaged to benefit 13 countries.
