Rise Against Hunger San Francisco Bay Area was founded in 2012 and serves the northwest California (north of Bakersfield), Nevada (north and east of Reno), Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Denver regions. In 2019, nearly 11,000 local volunteers and partnering organizations, including Salesforce, VISA and Wells Fargo, have helped build the local movement to end global hunger. In this region alone, through 2019, about 18.9 million meals have been packaged to benefit 13 countries.
Volunteers are one of the essential resources Rise Against Hunger needs to help realize the vision of a world without hunger. Each year, thousands of volunteers join Rise Against Hunger not only to package meals, but to support local operations and assist with administrative duties. Ready to get started?
