In an exciting multi-site event last week, Rise Against Hunger partner ADP reached a total of over 1 million meals packaged since the beginning of their partnership in 2016! With hundreds of volunteers activated across 15 locations, achieving this milestone in their commitment to end hunger was a celebration around the country with gongs ringing and hunger champions in hairnets.
Rita Mitjans, Chief Diversity and Social Responsibility Officer, shares, “Our associates are the heart and soul of ADP, giving their time and treasure to global causes like Rise Against Hunger that address real human issues like hunger. I am so proud to work for a company that encourages associates to make a difference in their communities locally and around the world.”
Rod Brooks, Rise Against Hunger CEO, expresses his gratitude to ADP for their joint commitment to creating a world with zero hunger: “Congratulations to ADP on their Rise Against Hunger Million Meal Milestone! It is with partners like ADP that we believe ending hunger is possible. Their continued and historical commitment to hunger relief provides thousands of people nourishment and hope. We are very grateful for our growing partnership, for their service and their support. We look forward to our continued work together and ending hunger in our lifetime.”
